Description
Court Appointed Special Advocate services healthy developing, thriving children 0-18 years of age. Children often do not have someone to speak on their behalf. Our volunteer advocates represent the child’s interests at all legal proceedings, in the community and with other organizations to ensure the child receives the services they need. Our advocates also work to get children in a safe, stable home. CGC volunteers receive training in their roles and responsibilities as advocates in legal proceedings, cultural diversity, and signs of abuse and negligence, among other issues.
