Government RelationsBE WITH CHILD-SERVING COLLEAGUES FROM AROUND THE STATE WHO DRIVE PUBLIC POLICIES, BUDGETS AND CHANGE
Decades of credible work by the Alliance has established effective relationships with state agencies, the Governor’s office, and the Legislature. The Alliance contracts with a professional lobbying firm. Our lobbyist provides us legislative insight, strategy ideas, targeted messages, and access to key legislators. Our Executive Director, a former registered lobbyist with significant campaign leadership experience and twenty years as an advocate in the capitol, coordinates our legislative activities and ensures we are in the right place and the right time with the right message. We are also significantly engaged with advisory boards, committees, and task forces with every state agency affecting children and families. We work directly with top leadership in each agency. We value public-private partnerships as a priority strategy, and collaborate at every possible opportunity. InformationGET THE REAL TIME INFORMATION YOU NEED
