Registration CLOSED. THANK YOU AND SEE EVERYONE SOON! Join Dr Crystallee Crain (she/her) for a two part series on Cultural Humility in Practice. During this workshop Dr. Crain will work with participants to identify gaps in understanding, capacity for humility and emotional responsiveness as it relates to their practice. Through a love centered, participatory framed experiences participants will be able to heighten their efficacy in their work by understanding how their biases, perceptions, and worldview impact their work in the community. Dr. Crain is the Founder & Principal Consultant with Prevention at the Intersections and a board member of Seeding Justice Foundation. In this 2 HALF DAYS AND VIRTUAL training, participants will learn: Dr. Crain will work with participants to identify gaps in understanding, capacity for humility and emotional responsiveness as it relates to their practice. About the trainer: Crystallee Crain Ph.D., is a social and political critic with academic roots in sociology, political science, and psychology. Dr. Crain has developed curriculum and taught courses at the university level for over a decade. She specializes in uncovering the layers of institutional inequality while supporting communities to shift ways of being and practice to improve life chances. She has worked as a diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant for nonprofit organizations. Crystallee has a passion for evaluation studies that will impact policy reform for positive social change.
